Welcome to my Blog!

Hello!
My name is Judy and I reside in the Chicagoland area in Illinois (Zone 5).
I love being outdoors. It makes me feel alive! I prefer to be outside when the weather is nice. Whatever needs to be done indoors can wait for a rainy day.

I feel very 'connected' with nature when I garden. The sounds, the smells, the beauty of it all.....I can't seem to get enough of it!

Winter is particularly hard for me because I can't get out in the yard; however, that is the time for me to plan and dream.

Gardening is never boring to me. It is always a work in progress. I can be creative, mindless, reflective and get in a good work-out just by doing what I love.
Life doesn't get much better than that!
